The fact that we are currently in the "Fiery Depths of Hell" part of summer suggests that fall will return after a few more oppressively hot weeks. There is a particular charm to a crisp morning stroll with a spiced coffee in your hand and brilliant leaves crunching on the asphalt. I am aware of the excitement around this campaign. What about my preferred fall feature, though? The manner (said obnoxiously in all caps).
Oh, the fashion. Although fall fashion trends are often an exciting change of pace, this year is different. Typically, they consist of the same old sweater/denim combo with some version of a black boot. Fall 2022 will see the return of comfortable clogs, avant-garde knitwear, and a comeback of the dirt bike-inspired fashion trend from years past (thinking back to Rihanna's moto-themed Fenty x Puma spring 2018 presentation).
By September, baggy cargo pants made popular by pop-punk diva Avril Lavigne in the early 2000s, unusual, upmarket footwear, leather headpieces, fluffy accessories, and more will be in vogue. Do you remember trucker hats in relation to the year 2000? They have indeed come back in full force (mostly thanks to Megan Thee Stallion). The resurgence makes me immediately think of Ashton Kutcher's Punk'd period and, as a result, of the infamous Ed Hardy and Von Dutch styles you used to see on the heads of pretty much every celebrity.
Fall is quickly approaching, so I've highlighted 10 of the hottest styles you'll find everywhere. Scroll down to get the fall fashion 411 (yes, I've decided to say it again).

1. Jumbo Clogs
I'm not going to argue, clumsy clogs are a thing. Despite becoming practically unavoidable in the 1970s and 1990s, clogs finally lost their "cool" appeal. Now, a variety of maximalist renditions created by artists like Simon Miller and Lisa Says Gah! are widely dispersed.
2. Abstract Sweaters
Sweaters with edgy cut-outs and asymmetrical hems were seen on the runways of Kiko Kostadinov, No.21, and GCDS as well as on the backs of fashion models like Bella Hadid and Hailey Baldwin, among others.
3. Statement Loafers
This preppy shoe trend will be very prevalent in the fall, especially elevated ones with hefty soles, oddball designs, stitching, and decorations. While Louis Vuitton displayed peep-toe loafers, Eckhaus Latta displayed extremely hefty platform styles in a range of colors.
4. Leather Outerwear
leather jackets for fall? I know what groundbreaking is. I'm talking about long, filthy duster coats, boy blazers, and other unusual clothing accents in this year's designs from manufacturers, which depart from the traditional biker style.
5. Trucker Hats
Oh, that trucker hat. One of the most well-known Y2K accessories (recall when Lindsay Lohan donned a "Drama Queen" one?). The nostalgic hat is just beginning to come back into fashion. They have recently been sought after by everyone, including Lady Gaga, Gigi Hadid, Rihanna, Hailey Bieber, and Dua Lipa.
6. Oversize Button-Ups
The classic button-up is big and boxy. These shirts exude a casual elegance that makes them a reliable wardrobe staple. By pairing a blue-striped version with yellow shorts and vintage Adidas Sambas, Kendall Jenner, a devoted fan of this look, created a look that was worthy of imitation.
7. Fur Accessories
Fluffy accessories were everywhere at the fall 2022 shows, from fluffy shoes at Loewe and Bottega Veneta to plush headpieces at Versace and Gucci to soft-textured purses at Fendi and Off-White..
8. Maxi Skirts
Even though microskirts are also hot right now, we're going to maxis for the fall. We saw skirts that skimmed the runway at Dior, Etro, Chloe, Acne Studios, Altuzarra, and other stores. Bella Hadid has been pictured sporting a maxi skirt with a zip-away cargo in addition to a denim pattern.
9. Cargo Pants
These oversized utility pants, which were common in the 1990s and the early 2000s, have just made a significant reappearance. Hailey Baldwin and Kylie Jenner have recently donned the Jaded London parachute cargo pants, respectively.
10. Motocross
We have regularly seen this look on the runway throughout the years. Right present, the bold style is back in vogue, possibly as a result of Rosala's most recent album Motomami. Kim Kardashian, who consistently sets fashion trends, recently showed up in a pair of red, white, and blue color-blocked Balenciaga pantaboots that had a motocross boot vibe to them.
